Play Therapy
A gentle, evidence-informed approach that helps children express feelings, build skills, and feel more secure.
What is Play Therapy?
Children speak through play. Sessions are child-led, while the therapist provides clear, caring boundaries.
There’s no “right” or “wrong” way to play—we watch themes and skills unfold. Play becomes practice for coping, communicating, problem-solving, and flexibility.
What we’re building
Emotional awareness, safer expression, stronger coping skills, and improved connection—at a pace your child can handle.
Is play therapy for my child?
Play therapy may be a good fit if your child is between ages 3–12 and you’re noticing any of the following:
- Struggles to express feelings
- Has behavior challenges at home or school
- Has experienced stress, change, loss, or trauma
- Shows withdrawal, low confidence, or difficulty self-regulating
- Experiences anxiety, sadness, anger, or big emotions
- Needs support with coping and problem-solving
Progress looks like…
Progress can be subtle at first—then starts showing up at home, at school, and in relationships.
- Sharing feelings more easily
- Learning healthy ways to cope
- Feeling calmer emotionally
- Building confidence and connection
- Having fewer emotional outbursts
- Using play to work through experiences
- Showing positive changes in behavior
